Las Vegas, NV (July 7, 2015) – Life is Beautiful Festival brings back its signature art program and exhibition to Downtown Las Vegas from September 25 – 27. For the third year in a row, the festival will showcase another round of top international artists who will be creating large-scale murals and installations. Also making its debut at the festival is the immersive ART MOTEL exhibition that will feature local and regional artists and creators.

2015 STREET ART PROGRAMMING

Since its inception in 2013, Life is Beautiful has enlisted some of the world’s best street artists as part of its interactive art pillar – one of the four core pillars of the festival.

Charlotte Dutoit of JUSTKIDS returns to curate the street art program featuring exhilarating murals and art installations. The visual art will set the perfect vibrant backdrop for festival-goers as they enjoy the weekend filled with music, food and learning sessions, and will go on to exist in the streets of Downtown Las Vegas.

“Life is Beautiful has transformed the landscape of Downtown Las Vegas and in such a short time, it has become a major US city for the urban art scene,” said Charlotte Dutoit, owner of JUSTKIDS. “Tourists from around the world are starting to visit just to see the original masterpieces created for the festival.”

Kicking off this year’s mural program is German street artist 1010 with his incredible optical illusion piece that is already complete and able to be viewed at 211 8th Street in Las Vegas, NV. 1010 is best known for playing with multicolored, portal-like illusions on buildings around the world and recently created a huge mind-blowing mural on a highway in Paris, France. Joining 1010 at Life is Beautiful this year are international street artists Bordalo (Portugal), Ruben Sanchez (Spain), Bikismo (Puerto Rico), Pixel Pancho (Italy), D*Face (UK), Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas (UK), Sbagliato (Italy), MTO (France) along with special guest Josh Ostrovsky, aka Instagram comic sensation, ‘THE FAT JEW’.
